Sri Vittal Rukmini Temple

The magnificent Sri Vittal Rukmini Temple in Govindapuram, Kumbakonam — lovingly known as Dakshina Pandharpur — stands as a living embodiment of Sri Anna’s divine vision. Spread across 32,000 sq. ft., the temple’s grand Prakaram and towering 150-ft Gopuram radiate devotion and grace. Every inch of this sacred space has been intricately built and beautified by skilled Maharashtrian sculptors.

At its heart beats Sri Anna’s mission — the chanting of divine names (Nama Sankeerthanam) and the propagation of Sanatana Dharma (Naama Pracharam).

In the spirit of oneness, the temple warmly welcomes people of all castes, creeds, and backgrounds. Every devotee is blessed with the rare opportunity to step into the Sanctum Sanctorum and touch the lotus feet of Sri Vittal and Sri Rukmini, experiencing the divine presence intimately.

Nitya Seva

Day starts with Gopooja

Every day at the Samsthan begins with the mellifluous chanting of Nama and the fragrance of devotion that fills the air. Bhaktas from across the country participate in the Nitya Seva, offering their prayers, gratitude, and surrender to Sri Vittal and Sri Rukmini.

The Nitya Seva offers devotees the blessed opportunity to be part of all the divine activities of the day — from the early morning Gopooja to the serene Dolothsavam at night. With a contribution of ₹18,000, bhaktas may offer Sankalpam in their name and participate in every seva of the day, including Archana, Neivedhyam, and Prasadam.

The Samsthan also performs the auspicious Swarna Ratha Seva (Golden Chariot Seva), where the Lord is taken in a magnificent procession. Devotees may offer their Sankalpam and Archanai before the procession.
