We nurture a Veda Patashala with thirty students, where the living tradition of Veda Rakshanam (preservation) continues
The Vedas form the soul of our culture—anchoring our social structure, spiritual practice, and inner growth. By creating a sanctuary where young minds can dedicate themselves to mastering these priceless treasures, we honor both the past and the future.
Courses Offered
The courses at the Vidyalaya span across:
- Atharvana Veda ;
a. Paippalada Shaka - Yajur veda ;
a. Kanva Shaka
b. Thaithiriya Shaka
In addition to Vedic chanting and memorization (Pathashala curriculum) students are taught:
- Vedic Lakshana (rules of chanting and pronunciation)
- Shrauta and Smarta Rituals (performance of traditional yagnas and daily karmas)
- Shastra Studies (basic introduction to Nyaya, Mimamsa, Vedanta)
- Bhagavad Gita memorization and commentary
- Abhangs and Bhajans (to promote Nama Sankeerthanam among young minds)
